We offer web design and development services . . . and have been doing so since 1995.  For the most part it is a one person operation that reaches out when needed for programming support. Our web design clients run the gamut from seasonal resorts to online stores to hat makers and diy programmers.  Each site is custom designed to meet the needs and vision of our client.  We craft web sites to meet "their" vision, not "ours." 

Solutions for our clients could be  static css based sites or dynamic php/mysql solutions. If customization is needed, we find the most cost effective solution to accomplish your needs. We work in a linux/apache/php/mysql environment that offers tons of options for projects. We will research, recommend and implement a solid solution for your project based on current, proven technology.

Our studio is located in Washburn, WI (on the south shore of Lake Superior) and our primary service area includes Ashland, Bayfield, Duluth and Superior.  But don't let a little distance stop you, we have clients scattered throughout the United States.

NorthStar Web Hosting

We added web hosting to our offerings in 2000 as a value added service. It made sense to do the research to find a great hosting solution and passing those benefits on to our clients.  By doing so it gives us more control over service - the end result is a dependable web presence for our clients.  

Many of our clients choose to host with us.  We like that because we are working in an environment in which we are familiar.  If we have issues we can depend upon  an established working relationship with our service provider. 

And if you are a more savvy internet user, our hosting solution allows a great deal of flexibility in server administration.  We use the popular Cpanel interface that can turn control of most server functions to you . . . such as email accounts, forwarders, sub-domains, cron jobs, spam protection, and much more.  Cpanel comes with a very good help system so that you can grow into doing more server admin as you wish.
